The MPC Job Center is a full-service employment office connecting students with valuable work opportunities both on campus and in the community. The Job Center’s goal is to bridge education and employment, helping students build their educational skills and gain practical experience that supports their academic growth and future career success.

Work On Campus in Between Classes!

MPC offers many on-campus job opportunities for currently enrolled students in various departments across campus. Students must be eligible for Federal Work-Study (FWS), providing employment for those demonstrating financial need. Students who are interested in learning more about these positions should:

  1. Complete the 2024-25 FAFSA
  2. Complete the Federal Work Study Request Form
  3. Meet with the MPC Job Center (General Classrooms Building, GC-103) to learn about current employment opportunities on campus. (831) 646-4195 jobcenter@mpc.edu
  4. After you are offered an on-campus job following your interview you will fill out the On-Campus Application Packet

*International students will have to follow a different process for jobs that doesn't require FWS.

If you don’t qualify for financial aid you still can apply for on-campus jobs. However, they are limited.

Federal Work Study is a federally funded program. You must qualify for financial aid to apply for Federal Work Study.

Library technician, tutoring, office assistant, teacher’s aide, fitness assistant, and many other positions on-campus at MPC.

California minimum wage and up.

Monthly on the 10th after 2:00pm.

Your check will be mailed to you on the 10th of every month. An email will be sent to you if you’re receiving a check in the mail.

Minimum of 3 units for summer and 6 units for spring or fall.
