Work On Campus in Between Classes!
MPC offers many on-campus job opportunities for currently enrolled students in various departments across campus. Students must be eligible for Federal Work-Study (FWS), providing employment for those demonstrating financial need. Students who are interested in learning more about these positions should:
- Complete the 2024-25 FAFSA
- Complete the Federal Work Study Request Form
- Meet with the MPC Job Center (General Classrooms Building, GC-103) to learn about current employment opportunities on campus. (831) 646-4195 jobcenter@mpc.edu
- After you are offered an on-campus job following your interview you will fill out the On-Campus Application Packet

Most student worker positions are supported through Federal Work Study (FWS). Don't forget to request FWS each semester!
*International students will have to follow a different process for jobs that doesn't require FWS.
FAQs on Student Employment
- Must be enrolled in 6 units or more at MPC
- Contact MPC Financial Aid Office to fill out the financial aid application and make sure your financial aid file is complete
- Fill out FAFSA
- Request Federal Work Study

Federal Work Study is a federally funded program. You must qualify for financial aid to apply for Federal Work Study.
Library technician, tutoring, office assistant, teacher’s aide, fitness assistant, and many other positions on-campus at MPC.
California minimum wage and up.
Monthly on the 10th after 2:00pm.
Your check will be mailed to you on the 10th of every month. An email will be sent to you if you’re receiving a check in the mail.
Minimum of 3 units for summer and 6 units for spring or fall.
