Articulation

Articulation is the process through which agreements developed between institutions allow courses taken at one institution to be accepted in place of course requirements at another. By successfully completing articulated courses at MPC, you can be assured that your courses will satisfy requirements at partnered transfer institutions. Agreements may take the form of course-to-course articulation, lower division major preparation, general education requirements, and even elective units.

UC & CSU Articulation with Assist.org

In California, Project ASSIST keeps track of all existing articulation between California Community Colleges and the CSU and UC systems. View the most current information regarding how MPC courses articulate with courses at UC and CSU institutions, view lower division program requirements, and see which MPC courses fulfill CSU-GE Breadth and Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) requirements.

While ASSIST is a great tool, it does not take the place of a counselor. It is intended to help students and counselors work together to establish an appropriate path toward transferring from a public California community college to a California university..
