Monterey Peninsula College Releases 2025-2026 Annual Report, “Expanding What’s Possible”
Report highlights record enrollment, expanded student support, and voter-approved facilities investments across MPC’s three campuses
Monterey County, CA — Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) announces the release of its 2025-2026 Annual Report, titled “Expanding What’s Possible.” The report showcases a year of growth and achievement for the College, spanning record student enrollment, expanded academic pathways, enhanced student support services, and significant progress on voter-approved facilities investments across MPC’s Monterey, Marina, and Seaside campuses.
Key milestones for the 2025-2026 academic year include:
- 11,409 students enrolled at MPC, with 34% of students the first in their families to attend college.
- 1,753 degrees and certificates awarded to MPC students.
- 1,689 high school students earned college credit tuition-free through MPC’s dual enrollment and early college programs.
- $565,000 distributed directly to students through MPC Foundation scholarships, internships, emergency assistance, and other support programs.
- 39 facilities projects in progress or completed under Measure V, the $230 million voter-approved bond, including $24 million expended in FY 2025-26 on student wellness, campus safety, and academic infrastructure.
- Launch of the MPC 2030 Strategic Plan, “Waves of Opportunity,” guiding the College’s next phase of growth around equity in access, support, and success; an innovative learning and work environment; and a strengthened campus community.
