Safety Related Incident August 29, 2025
This morning, there was a small fire behind the Automotive Technology Building in the trees on the other side of the fence protecting the MPC Property. MPC Security noticed the fire as it started and called 911. Monterey Fire Department was dispatched and quickly extinguished the fire. They are currently investigating the exact cause of the incident. This message is being sent to reassure the campus that no injuries or damage occurred as a result of the fire.
